Matthew T. Nix

Matt Nix has more than 25 years of experience in real estate development. As a principal of REVA Development Partners, he focuses on land acquisition, financing and operations. His experience includes development of apartments, condominiums and townhomes, and he has directed a broad range of projects from institutional-quality suburban apartment communities and mixed-use town centers to boutique infill multifamily buildings and townhome communities.

Prior to forming REVA Development Partners with Warren James in 2011, Nix held executive positions with Opus North and Lincoln Property Company. He has been involved in the development of more than 5,000 residential units throughout the Midwest and Colorado worth more than $600 million.

Nix holds a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a master’s degree in business from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute through product councils, the Urban Plan competition and ULI/RTA Technical Assistance panels for local municipalities.

Nix lives in River Forest, Illinois, with his wife and three teenage sons.  Outside of work, he enjoys biking, golfing, skiing, woodworking and supporting his children’s athletic endeavors.
