Pre-Leasing Begins at The Oaks of Vernon Hills Luxury Rentals in Vernon Hills
CHICAGO (Monday, July 14, 2014) – Chicago-based REVA Development Partners announced the start of pre-leasing at The Oaks of Vernon Hills, a 304-unit luxury rental community in Vernon Hills. The first residences will be available for move in this September. Leasing and property management is being overseen by Kinzie Real Estate Group.
“With construction continuing at a strong pace, The Oaks is taking shape and we’re excited to begin pre-leasing the flats and rowhomes to our very first residents,” said Matt Nix, principal of REVA Development Partners. “There has been a lot of attention paid to this development from the community and interested renters since it was announced, and this milestone puts us one step closer to completion.”
Located in desirable north-suburban Vernon Hills, the 27-acre development will feature three-story garden-style apartment buildings and rental rowhomes configured in a series of pocket neighborhoods. The apartment flats will include one-bed/one-bath and two-bed/two-bath plans measuring 696 to 1,212 square feet. Each garden-style building is served by an elevator and also includes individual attached garages. The rowhomes, measuring 1,487 to 1,800 square feet, will offer two or three bedrooms with 2½ baths and an attached two-car garage. The Oaks is seeking a LEED Silver designation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The Oaks will offer residents a host of amenities including a clubhouse with a catering kitchen, a theater/gaming room, state-of-the-art fitness center, and outdoor swimming pool with sundeck and fire pit. The community will also feature a tot lot, dog park and open green space throughout, connected by walking trails. The Oaks of Vernon Hills will have a professional full-time, on-site management and maintenance staff.
“We have more than 200 potential residents who registered for our preview list, and there is a wide variety of people, including families, young couples, professionals, and retirees,” noted Nix. “The Oaks is a great option for those who seek high-end design and finishes typically found in a for sale condominium or townhome development with the flexibility and lifestyle benefits of a luxury rental community.”
“Based only on drive-by activity and limited marketing up to this point, we are receiving calls daily, and have a growing list of units which have already been reserved,” he said.
Nix also said the design of the community creates the feeling of an intimate neighborhood, which fits well with the surrounding Vernon Hills area. The Oaks offers a walkable location, with proximity to dining, recreation, entertainment and schools.
The Oaks of Vernon Hills is within a mile of both the Vernon Hills and Prairie View Metra stations, and offers proximity to I-294 and Milwaukee Avenue. Residents of The Oaks will be served by award-winning Lincolnshire-Prairie View Dist. 103 and Adlai Stevenson High School Dist. 125.
